Islam Demands Unconditional Surrender

July 28, 2011 Leave a comment

What’s in a name? A great deal. Democracy, fascism, and communism represent different systems of government. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are also titles for different religious systems.

Whereas democracy is defined as the rule of the people, by the people, for the people, Islam is defined as the rule of Allah, by Allah and his emissaries, for the pleasure of Allah. And when people, out of concern for political correctness or ignorance, describe Islam as a religion of peace, they are, at the very least, guilty of misrepresenting it.

The word “Islam,” is derived from the Arabic “aslama,” or “Tasleem” which means ‘surrender.’ The word for peace is not “tasleem,” but it is “solh.” Hence, when radical Muslims behave in violent barbaric ways, they are only doing so in obedience to the dictates of their creed.
They are surrendering and sacrificing anything and everything in service to the will and pleasure of Allah, as they see it. In saying that Islam means peace, Islamic apologists are simply indulging in word play in order to put as positive a spin on things as they can. It is an attempt to argue that Islam promotes non-violence. In other words, they are lying.

Of course, not every Muslim surrenders fully to the will of Allah. The great majority of Muslims are only partial Muslims. They may say their daily obligatory prayers, they may tithe some, and they may keep the fast from time to time. Yet, they may also have a few drinks now and then, and do many things that they are not supposed to do.

But Islam can be a “forgiving” religion, specifically for the male. If you neglect to say your prayers or you simply don’t want to, you can hire someone, preferably an imam or a mullah, to pray on your behalf. Going to the Hajj is too onerous and takes you away from the pleasures and comforts of your life? You can deputize someone else to go in your stead. You have a few drinks of the forbidden brew and it is time to say your prayer? Simply rinse your mouth and go ahead with praying. But, always remember the will of Allah and serve him. Do your duties to vanquish the unbelievers, promote the rule of the Shari’a, and make the earth Allah’s.

If only the masses of Muslims arise and carry out the orders of Allah, then we would have the promised paradise of Islam on earth as exemplified by such rules as that of the Taliban, Saudi Arabia, the Sudan, and of course the Shiite nirvana of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In these model Islamic societies, freedom of expression, worship, and assembly are taken away. Women are treated as chattel. Young girls are subjected to barbaric genital mutilation to make them sex slaves and birth channels without the ability to enjoy intercourse. Minors are executed, adulterers are stoned to death, thieves have their limbs amputated, and much much more. Isn’t that everyone’s idea of paradise?

This misogynist religion of Allah is custom-made for the savage male. A faithful follower of Allah is allowed to have as many as four permanent wives – and replace any of them at any time he wants — as well as an unlimited number of one-night or one-hour-standers that he can afford to rent. But, woe unto a woman if she even has a single love affair with another man. Nothing less than death by stoning is her just punishment.

The partial-Muslims are seemingly harmless, may appear normal, and are under the radar. What gets our attention is the die-hard, the real Muslims who are a small minority. Yet this virulent combative minority is campaigning simultaneously on two major fronts. It works to herd the partial-Muslim majority into its fold and vanquish all other non-believers by any and all means.

It is prudent to keep in mind that all important events in the history of humanity have been instigated by either an individual or a small group. These individuals or groups have been the sheep dogs that have directed the movements and activitiesof the masses, the sheep.

This is exactly what the real Muslims, the Islamists, are doing in the world today. It is suicidal to dismiss the Islamists as a bunch of zealots of no consequences or as a fringe group that will burn itself out. Sadly enough, it is the bulk of the Muslims that pundits portray as “peaceful” who is either irrelevant or often serves as an instrument in the hands of the Islamists. A couple of examples from recent history conclusively prove the point that it is the fanatical minorities that launch and implement campaigns that inflict immense suffering on the larger society.

In the 1930s, very few Germans were Nazis, but many basked in the resurgence of German pride and many others were too busy with their own lives to care. Thus, Germany presented a wide-open unchallenged opportunity for the Nazis to push forward their agenda and gather power to a point that it was too late for any other force to stem their tide.

And we all know what suffering this gang of radical supremacists inflicted on millions of people before their own demise.

The Khomeinism of Iran was started by a band of Shiite fanatics who rode the tide of opposition to the rule of the Shah and promised the masses the Islamic nirvana. No sooner had the Khomeinists ascended to power than they made the entire nation captive by murdering tens of thousands of the complacent and the late-to-awaken opposition, imprisoning and torturing untold thousands more, and creating a state of Islamic menace that threatens the entire free world.

The fact is that too many die-hard Islamists continue leaving the failed Islamic states and settling in the lands of the Kafir. These new arrivals bring with them the deeply engrained hatred of the infidels and believe that they are indeed the rightful owner of the entire earth and all other non-Muslims are mere squatters that must be either subjugated or eliminated all together.

In this relentless campaign, the Islamists have a vast cadre of “experts,” “talking heads,” and for-purchase politicians who keep endlessly broadcasting the false mantra that Islam is religion of peace. This latter bunch is criminally complicit in making the populace complacent and furthering the work of the Islamists.

Islam may be a religion of peace. It is the kind of peace embedded in its very name: Surrender. Free people shouldn’t be cowed by the Islamist savages and should take into account their accomplices who are shamelessly deceiving the public regarding the true nature of Islam. And what should we do? We should articulate a fair and fearless critique of Islam. We must expose Islam as it really is and then identify moderate voices that are calling for a complete reformation.

Islam demands unconditional surrender of all that free people cherish and hold sacred. It is Islam, a pathological doctrine and a vestige of long ago barbarism that must surrender to the wholesome principles of freedom and free people. Contributing Editor Amil Imani is an Iranian-American writer, poet, satirist, novelist, essayist, literary translator, public speaker and political analyst who has been writing and speaking out about the danger of radical Islam both in America and internationally. Importing Islam

July 26, 2011 Leave a comment
Now that a white Norwegian with blond hair and blue eyes has committed a horrendous act of terrorism in Norway, there will be many in the press who will attempt to silence those who speak out about the danger of Islam.  Yet, this September 11th, we will mark the 10 anniversary of the worst attack upon our soil perpetrated by Muslims faithfully engaged in Jihad as commanded of them in the Quran.  We lost nearly 3000 thousand fellow Americans on that day…..fathers, mothers, children, wives and husbands slaughtered for the sin of being infidels.  Since that fateful day there have been over 17,000 Islamic acts of terror committed around the globe with over 116 plots and 33 deaths on American soil alone.

As we witness warfare around the world we see it is the Muslims killing the Christians in Egypt, Indonesia, Nigeria, Sudan, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia; they target the Jews in Israel, the Hindus in India and Chechnya, and the Buddhists in Thailand…..and the list goes on and on because Mohammad’s practioners are commanded to “slay the non-believers wherever ye may find them”. Quran: (2:191-193)

Mohammad and his early followers were warriors who conquered vast amounts of territory by the sword, confiscating the spoils, enslaving his captives, and raping the wives.  He took Aisha, the daughter of a Jewish captive as his wife when she was six years old and consummated (raped) the marriage when she was nine.  Is there any wonder that today young girls in Muslim countries continue to be raped by old men who regard them as chattel?

We in the West have been fortunate to have had little impact from Islamic doctrine and culture due to distance.  However, with the continuous influx of Islamic immigration within the last few decades, the peace, tranquility, and values that once was ours is now being threatened.  We are now importing Islam with each new additional Muslim and Islam is a political ideology that is at odds with our Constitutional values of liberty, equality, and pluralism.  While many Muslims may not be practicing Muslims they nevertheless share a belief in Islam and Islam is at war with the rest of mankind.

A religious political doctrine that commands its followers to slay the non-believers is at odds with a Judeo-Christian commandment to love thy neighbor as you love yourself.  A doctrine that promotes death for apostates is in conflict with our values of freedom of religion.  A doctrine that would meet out the death penalty for  criticism of Islam or Mohammad is contrary to our believe in freedom of speech.  A doctrine that equates women to chattel is an affront to our value of equality for all.
Europeans are now feeling the effect multiculturalism has wrought upon their once peaceful region.  In Oslo, Muslims comprise 6.29% of the city’s population but 20.21% of the rapists. More than 66% of rape victims are Norwegian white women.  Muslim immigrants in Denmark make up 5% of the population but consume 40% of welfare spending.  A sharp rise in Anti-Semitism is seen throughout Europe with attacks upon synagogues, Jewish schools, Jewish businesses, and physical assaults upon Jews in France and Sweden committed by the practitioners of the religion of peace.

Muslim immigration has brought forth an increase in crime.  A study of 45.000 teenagers from across Germany concluded that boys growing up in religious Muslim families are more likely to be violent than others. “Even when other social factors were taken into account, there remained a significant correlation between religiosity and readiness to use violence. The correlation was only found with Muslim boys. Not with other religions and not with girls.”

There are no-go zones in France and England where non-Muslims cannot enter for fear of Muslim violence against non-Muslims and just recently a group called Muslims Against the Crusades have called for Muslim enclaves around London to be self-governed as independent states under Sharia and outside the realm of British law and authority.

The largest Muslim enclave within the United States is Dearborn, Michigan where Muslims dominate the political and law enforcement process.  Not too long ago a few Christians attempting to preach the gospel on a Dearborn city street were arrested for their Constitutional right to proselytize.  Sharia law makes it a crime to preach the gospel; therefore, the Muslim Police Chief of Dearborn was adhering to Sharia law within an American city.  The Islamic call to prayer five times a day over city loudspeakers was approved by Dearborn’s city council.

Honor killings, (a barbaric practice that condones the killing of wives, da ughters or sisters who have brought shame upon the family) have now taken place in several states throughout the U.S.  We have also seen a sharp rise in polygomous marriages which is permissible within Islam.  Here a Muslim man will marry one woman legally and marry others under an Islamic religious ceremony.  It allows the man to have numerous children and if he can only provide for one, the rest are put into our welfare system for American taxpayers to fund.

In Minnesota, Muslim taxi drivers refuse to transport passengers with dogs (considered to be ritually unclean in Islam) or alcohol which is forbidden.  Western women have taken great pride in their freedom to express their sense of self, but it is now becoming common to see women covered from head to toe in burquas on American city streets.  The notion that a woman needs to hide her physical self is an affront to American’s women’s sense of independence; yet, the importation of Islam will transform our physical and psychological landscape backwards.

Do we want mosques springing up in towns and cities across our land where the guiding doctrine is the Quran, a totalitarian political legal doctrine that is seditious by its very nature?  Do we want our public school systems – which recognize a separation of church and state – to allow Muslim prayer services on school grounds?  Some public schools and universities are granting Muslim requests for prayer times, prayer rooms and ritual foot baths.  In the San Diego Public School system 15 minute prayer breaks are allotted for Muslim students, and Toronto is presently allowing its public schools to hold Islamic led prayer services.

In an effort to dismantle the notion of national identity and nation state with the substitution of multiculturalism, we have been fed a big lie by the Left.  We have been led to believe that all cultures are equal, but all cultures are not equal.  Some are better.  A culture that promotes freedom for all, equality for all, and love thy neighbor is better than a culture that enslaves, asks us to submit to the will of Allah, and commands its practitioners to wage war.

The importation of Islam must STOP.  Immigration from Islamic countries must come to a halt.  Those of you who sit on our House and Senate Immigration Commitees need to hear our voices.   Are you listening, Diane Feinstein and Chuck Schumer?  Unless we begin to set forth an immigration policy that is consistent with the values and principles set forth by our Constitution, we will continue to drift backwards to a time and place indistinguishable from the many Islamic hellholes that now permeate the globe.

The choice is ours!  To those name callers who like to silence debate by yelling “Islamophobia”, I admit I am Islamophobic, and I think you should be too.

(BREAKING) Iran: ‘We Have No Option but to Destroy Israel’

July 26, 2011 Leave a comment

In reaction to the recent assassination of Iranian scientist Dariush Rezaiinejad, chief commander of the Basij Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naghdi stated:
The main plot for this criminal act was conceived by the American government, and since it is scared of the reaction by the Muslim world due to the uprisings in the region, it had the Zionist regime commit the heinous act.
In order to protect the security of our country, we have no option but to have the Zionist regime wiped off the map.
Naghdi, who was born in Iraq, was a member of the Iranian Quds Force involved in international terrorism before he was appointed by Ayatollah Khamenei to the post of commander of the Basij in 2009. He has previously threatened to assassinate American generals in retaliation for the killings of the Iranian nuclear scientists.

Last Saturday, the Iranian scientist was gunned down outside his home in Tehran by assailants on a motorcycle. Since then, the state-owned Iranian media has sent out conflicting reports: first, that the scientist was a physicist involved in Iran’s nuclear program; later, that he was just a student studying for a master’s degree in electricity.
Iran’s Fars News Agency, operated by the Revolutionary Guards, claimed that the scientist was one of the researchers working on electric detonators which can be used on missiles or nuclear bombs. They stated that it was because of this activity that he was assassinated by the enemy.
The reaction by Iranian officials indicates that the slain scientist was an integral and important part of the Iranian nuclear bomb program. Said Tehran Governor General Morteza Tamadon to reporters during Dariush Rezaiinejad’s funeral procession in Tehran:
Undoubtedly, this was an American-Israeli project against our intellectuals and thinkers, with the aim of discouraging the Iranian nation from continuing the path it has taken.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani also said the assassination was planned by the U.S. and Israel:
The days of adventurous U.S. policies in the region are numbered, so the U.S. has turned to terrorist groups to cover up its failures.
MP Kazem Jalali of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee also alleged that the assassination was a terrorist operation:
The Zionist regime and the U.S. are behind these terrorist actions. … The Zionist regime and the U.S. are the axis of terrorism in the world.
Radicals ruling Iran are determined to make the bomb, and reports from Iran indicate that Iranian officials are now considering a measure to move all of their nuclear scientists, along with their immediate families, to a secure site such as the Parchin military complex.

This monstrous commander with his brain sized as of a sparrow’s hasn’t made this threat up, he and his top commanders have been instructed to say this to scare off the governments in the region.

Instructed by who? By their puppeteer Uncle Sam!
Why? because U.S. needs to set its arms factories in motion.
Why? because Uncle Sam’s is in a bad economic situation and needs to sell his arms to dumb 3rd world countries around the world to get out of the bad economic deadlock.

Homeland Security Warns of Insider Al Qaeda Attacks

July 22, 2011 Leave a comment

Government officials say al Qaeda may be trying to infiltrate critical facilities in the United States, including nuclear power plants, for future attacks. The Department of Homeland Security issued a report this week warning that sabotage by an insider could give terrorists access to major utility facilities.

“Violent extremists have, in fact, obtained insider positions’ at chemical and oil refineries and have ‘attempted to solicit utility-sector employees,” officials said in the report.

The department said it had no “specific, credible intelligence” of an imminent attack, but that there were a wide range of potential threats and areas subject to sabotage.

“There are a lot of very sensitive facilities where someone can get a job on the inside, can get access to a control room, flip a switch, which (can cause) an electric power grid to short circuit, causes a pipeline to explode,” said ABC News consultant and former national security official Richard Clarke.

“If someone were determined and had the right access, the amount of damage that they could inflict could affect thousands of lives,” added former Homeland Security official Chad Sweet.

The report was released in response to documents found in Osama bin Laden’s compound that revealed the al Qaeda leader was plotting another major attack in the U.S. — possibly on this year’s 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Several facility leaders who received the report say they will put employees on alert for suspicious behavior.

‘Quietly Toasting’ a Failed Iran Policy

July 22, 2011 Leave a comment
Washington Post editorial today correctly notes that, despite the policies of the Obama administration, “There has been no change in Iran’s drive for nuclear weapons or in its aggressive efforts to drive the United States out of the Middle East.” The sanctions were supposed to prevent Iran from attaining nuclear weapons. But the policy has not been able to achieve its stated goal.
Indeed, the Post‘s editors write, “Tehran has recently grown bolder. Last month it announced plans to triple its capacity to produce uranium enriched to the level of 20 percent — a far higher degree of processing than is needed to produce nuclear energy. Western diplomats and experts say that Iran is preparing, and may have already begun, to install a new generation of powerful centrifuges in a plant built into a mountain near the city of Qom.”
The administration, during the 2009 protests in Iran against the regime, was hesitant to weigh in. The White House seemed to think: Why meddle in Iranian affairs when you’re hoping the regime will agree to dialogue with you?

Why risk the chance of preventing Iran from going nuclear by standing up for human rights? They played the long-game, getting absolutely nothing in return.

Despite the failure to achieve any sort of result, a previous Post story (mentioned by the editorial writers) notes: “After two years of failed efforts to entice Iran with diplomatic carrots, the Obama administration is quietly toasting successes at using economic sticks.”
So the White House is “quietly toasting” a failed policy. No doubt the mullahs are probably doing the same thing back in Tehran.
“The bottom line is that the threat from Iran is not diminishing but growing,” the Post writes. “Where is the policy to reverse that alarming trend?” The answer is, unfortunately, there is none.

Iran Bails Out Syria

July 22, 2011 Leave a comment

The Iranian regime is running to the rescue of Syrian President Bashar Assad, who is struggling to contain a growing revolution against his rule. The protests continually reach new heights despite the killing of over 1,700 and imprisonment of 12,000. Now, Iran is offering Assad a massive $5.8 financial aid package in a desperate attempt to stabilize its ally.
Last Friday’s protests in Syria were the largest yet. For the first time, there were large demonstrations in the capital of Damascus, and not just its suburbs. Over one million Syrians came out into the streets, out of a nation of only 22 million. It is likely that the increased turnout was encouraged by the U.S. and French ambassadors’ visit to Hama the previous week, without the Assad regime’s permission, to show support for the protesters.

They were met with cheers, flowers and olive branches. The Assad regime is very worried about Western support for its domestic opponents, and retaliated by staging attacks on the U.S. and French embassies. The regime is also stoking sectarian warfare to ensure the loyalty of the Allawite minority it comes from, and to frighten the Syrian people and the West about causing ethnic cleansing and a civil war.

A think tank tied to the Iranian regime says that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei is willing to give a $5.8 billion package to Syria, including a three-month loan of $1.5 billion. The Iranians are also considering giving 290,000 barrels of oil per day to Syria for a month to help bolster the economy, and to help secure the border with Lebanon to stop refugees from fleeing with cash. This investment reflects how worried Iran is about losing Syria as an ally, as the overthrow of the Assad regime would upend its strategic position in the Middle East.

Iran rushed to aid Assad shortly after small protests turned into an uprising in March. Reports of Iranian and Hezbollah involvement first came out of Daraa, where the revolution gained steam. Citizens told stories of attackers speaking Farsi and talking with a southern Lebanese accent, as Hezbollah operatives would have. On March 21, a massive stockpile of Iranian weapons destined for Aleppo was intercepted in Turkey. The arms included “60 Kalashnikov AK-47 assault rifles, 14 BKC/Bixi machine guns, nearly 8,000 rounds of BKC/AK-47 ammunition, 560 60-mm mortar shells, and 1,288 120-mm mortar shells.”
The Reform Party in Syria revealed in April that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards had taken over a base in Homs Province to oversee the suppression of the revolution. The Syrian military allegedly began being supervised by the Iranians, resulting in Farid Ghadry of the Reform Party of Syria’s declaration that “In essence, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps now occupies Syria and has become its de facto ruler. Syria has become the 32nd province of Iran.”

The Revolutionary Guards’ Al-Quds Force also has a base in Damascus, where it has helped the regime arrest hundreds of its opponents by tracking opposition activity on the Internet. The Iranians have provided tools for repression, such as batons and riot gear, as well as sophisticated monitoring equipment used in putting down their own Green Revolution. One Iranian opposition group says in May, four planes transporting weapons and 65 Revolutionary Guards members arrived in the capital. They allegedly set up a base called the Ammar Operations Headquarters to work with the Assad regime.
One of the reasons for Iran’s involvement is the questionable loyalty of Assad’s mostly-Sunni military. There have been consistent reports of defections and in-fighting, though there has yet to be a serious split, as happened in Libya and Yemen. Most recently, over 200 soldiers defected in Abu Kamal in Deir ez-Zour Province, bringing several tanks with them. Other activists said that around 100 members of the Syrian air force’s intelligence branch had switched sides, as had the crew of four armored vehicles. The city erupted after four protesters will killed, including a 14-year old boy. The regime’s ongoing atrocities against children, such as the torture and murder of Hamza al-Khateeb, have served as a major source of fuel for the revolution.
Syrians who have fled to Turkey have also spoken of attacks in Jisr al-Shughour by soldiers that can’t speak Arabic and have full beards, which is uncommon in Syria. One resident said that some of the personnel confirmed they were Iranian. One soldier who fled to Turkey said that Iranians and members of Hezbollah are executing those who refuse to fire on their fellow countrymen. Citizens captured an agent of the regime and videotaped him confirming that Iranians are in Damascus and Aleppo, and that they are identifying and killing disloyal soldiers. Residents of Talbisseh also talked about bearded soldiers, and it’s been reported that Iraqis from the Iranian-backed militia of Moqtada al-Sadr have been dispatched to Syria.

Iran’s rescuing of Assad shows how critical Syria is to the balance of power in the region. If Iran feels the revolution in Syria is of the utmost importance, then so should the West.

Europe Shall Bleed Once Again

July 22, 2011 Leave a comment
Me and my brother against my cousin; me, my brother, and my cousin against the other. This is an old Muslim saying and Muslims live by this motto. To be sure the people of the “religion of peace” find the world full of “other,” to oppress and kill, both within as well as without the Islamic Ummah.

Civilized peoples’ idea of the “other” is the exact opposite of that of Muslims. All over Europe, for one, people have been singing the praises of multiculturalism; the idea that everybody should bend over backwards to accommodate the different in society. However, the different in this case are the hordes of invasive Muslims, with their rigid medieval ideas about every aspect of private and public life.
To Muslims, anyone who doesn’t toe the line of Islam, as each sect defines it, is the “other” and fair game as kafir (blasphemous; unbeliever in Allah). The “other” covers a broad spectrum: the six billion or so people of the world who are not Muslims, including the Jews and Christians who are considered Dhimmis. Every one of the numerous sects and sub-sects of Islam consider every other sect and sub-sect as “other” to be punished and even eliminated.

Centuries old Sunni-Shiite bloodletting is only one glaring example of the Islamic unceasing animosity for the “other.” Yet, these devotees of Allah never lose sight of the most important objective: destruction of everything non-Islamic and imposition of Islam on everyone and every land. Just recall what the Taliban did to the statues of Buddha, among other things; what the Wahabis are doing throughout the world; and, what the bomb-seeking Shiite mullahs of Iran are doing to the Baha’is in Iran in relentless race to dominate the region, destroy Israel, and later rule the world.

The sword that Muhammad wielded to kill all those who didn’t see things his way has never been sheathed by his followers. As soon as Muhammad died his devoted adherents carried on with his practice of killing. Killing gets merit points for Muslims. The Commander of the Faithful, Ali, the cousin and son-in-law of Muhammad, was knighted by none other than Muhammad for beheading, some 600 unbelievers in one day with his own sword, assisted only by one other killer. Ali’s blood-drenched sword had its own title, Zulfaghar.

The Muslims’ killing campaign did not end with their defeat at the gates of Vienna. Their eviction from Spain was a temporary forced retreat. But now the Muslims have, in huge numbers, penetrated the gates of every city and town of Europe without yet having to use their swords.

The Islam in Europe blog
reports on the numbers and percentages of Muslims in many European cities. Here are some of the statistics:

Marseilles – 25% (200,000 of 800,000)
Malmö – ~25% (67,000 of 270,000
Amsterdam – 24% (180,000 of 750,000)
Stockholm – 20% (>155,000 of 771,038)
Brussels – ~20% (some say 33%)
Moscow – 16-20% (2 million of 10-12 million)
London – 17% (1.3 million of 7.5 million)
Luton – 14.6% (26,963)
Birmingham 14.3% (139,771)
The Hague – 14.2% (67,896 of 475,580)
Utrecht – 13.2% (38,300 of 289,000)
Rotterdam – 13% (80,000 of 600,000)
Copenhagen – 12.6% (63,000 of 500,000)
Leicester – 11% (>30,000 of 280,000)
Aarhus – ~10%
Zaan district (Netherlands) – 8.8 percent
Paris – 7.38% (155,000 of 2.1 million)
Antwerp- 6.7% (>30,000 of >450,000)
Hamburg – 6.4% (>110,000 of 1.73 million)
Berlin – 5.9% (~200,000 of 3.40 million)
In the West an unholy coalition of mentally-deranged suicidal-homicidal liberals, together with self-selling Islamic apologists, are doing their level best to assist the Islamists in the destruction  of the existing order of freedom and liberty.
In Europe, the gullible, perhaps self-indulging native non-Muslims have welcomed the arrivals as a great opportunity for multiculturalism and let most of their Muslim population gain entry as “refugees”–who then brought over their extended families, and sent their children back to the “old country” to marry–returning, of course, to Europe right afterward. In return, Muslims have shown not a greater willingness to work but in fact, a remarkable ability to take advantage of every possible benefit offered by generous infidel nation-states. Europe is living on credit, and the creditors are hordes of Muslims who have already started delivering their bills.

Many affluent Europeans who see the handwriting on the wall are packing and moving to North America, Australia, and other seemingly safe lands. Yet, the Muslims’ bills, with
compounded interest, shall continue to be delivered to those who remain behind. In response, politicians will keep bending backwards to placate the evermore powerful creditors by gradually instituting the Islamic Shariah as the law of the land. Before very long, Europe will have to turn its deed over to the new Islamic invaders or rebel and fight block by block, city by city.
That is when Europe shall bleed, once again.

Iran’s Sly Weapon against the Great Satan’s Currency?

July 21, 2011 Leave a comment

The last three years of global recession have dealt a major blow to American capitalist ideas trumpeted throughout the world on the value of “free markets.” Wall St has been revealed as a form of casino economy, with the bankster insiders gambling with other people’s, and eventually, the government’s money in the form of bailouts. As the Republicans in Congress, scenting victory in the 2012 presidential elections, hold a gun to the Obama administration’s head and rating agencies consider downgrading U.S. government bonds in light of Washington’s possible defaulting, many ideas around the world that previously seemed implausible because of the dominance of the U.S. economy are garnering renewed interest.

Not surprisingly, many of these concepts originate in countries not enamored with Washington’s influence, perhaps none so more than “Axis of Evil” charter member Iran, which has seen its economy hammered by more than three decades of U.S.-led sanctions. Now Iran is working on a program, that, if it succeeds, could help undermine the dollar’s preeminence as the world’s reserve currency more effectively than a Republican filibuster.

Iran’s sly weapon against the Great Satan’s currency? An oil bourse on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf, which has now begun selling high-grade Iranian crude oil.

Mohsen Qamsari, deputy director for international affairs of the Iranian National Oil Company was modest about the exchange’s initial capabilities, saying, “The commodity stock exchange has been pursuing a mechanism for offering crude oil on the stock exchange for a long time, and it has taken the preliminary steps, to the extent possible. Considering the existing banking problems, foreign customers are not expected to be taking part in the first phase of offering crude oil on the stock exchange, and this will be done on a trial basis. Today Bahregan heavy, high quality, low sulfur crude oil with less sourness will be offered on the stock exchange for the first time. In the first phase, a 600,000 barrel shipment will be offered.”

Given that the world currently consumes roughly 83 million barrels of crude oil each day, the initial oil offerings at the Iranian stock exchange are hardly going to make or break the market, but they do represent an attempt by a significant oil producer to divert revenue streams from New York Mercantile Exchange, the world’s largest physical commodity futures exchange, which handles West Texas Intermediate benchmark futures, and London’s Intercontinental Exchange, which deals in North Sea Brent. All trades are in dollars, effectively giving the U.S. currency a monopoly.

The Kish Exchange dates back to February 2008, when instead of Tehran, Kish was chosen because it had designated as a free trade zone. The Exchange was set up to trade contracts in euros, Iranian rials and a basket of other currencies other than dollars. The previous year, Iran had requested that its petroleum customers pay in non-dollar currencies. But the Exchange initially traded contracts only for oil-derived products, such as those used as feedstocks for plastics and pharmaceuticals. Now the institution has taken the next step.

Even as Congress remains tone-deaf to the recession’s effect on American jobs and the economy, others have taken careful note. On 17 June 2008, addressing the 29th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the OPEC Fund for International Development in the Iranian city of Isfahan, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told those in attendance, “The fall in the value of the dollar is one of the biggest problems facing the world today. The damage caused by this has already affected the global economy, particularly those of the energy-exporting countries…

Therefore, I repeat my earlier suggestion, that a combination of the world’s valid currencies should become a basis for oil transactions, or (OPEC) member countries should determine a new currency for oil transactions.”

What it would take for Iran’s new exchange to survive and flourish are some heavy-duty customers that Washington would be wary of picking a fight with, and Tehran already has one – China.

China, the world’s largest buyer of Iranian crude oil, has renewed its annual import pacts for 2011. In 2010 Iran supplied about 12 percent of China’s total crude imports. According to the latest report of the China Customs Organization, Iran’s total oil exports to China stood at 8.549 million tons between January and April 2011, up 32 percent compared with the same period last year. Iran is currently China’s third largest supplier of crude oil, providing China with nearly one million barrels per day.

China simply ignores Washington’s squeals about sanctions, but it is concerned about the bottom line, and unless Iran makes its oil prices more attractive versus competing supplies from the rest of the Middle East or South American exporters, it may be hard for the OPEC member to boost its share in the rapidly expanding Chinese market.

Enter the Kish Exchange.

China’s Ambassador to Tehran Yu Hung Yang, addressing the Iran-China trade conference in Tehran on Monday, said that the value of the two countries’ trade exchanges surged 55 percent during the first four months of 2011 over the same period a year ago to $13.28 billion and further predicted that the figure would surpass $40 billion by the end of the year.

So much for sanctions, eh?

So, while Washington prepares to commit political hara-kiri, Iran is preparing to take away a little of the capitalist glow from New York and London. If the Chinese decide to start paying for their Iranian purchases strictly in yuan, expect the trickle away from the dollar in energy pricing to become a stampede. That ought to give Washington politicos an issue to think about besides gay marriage.

Iran has been working on this program that, if it succeeds, could help undermine the dollar’s preeminence as the world’s reserve currency.  For any nation that has ever attempted to even nudge the dollar from this preeminent role has been dealt with war. Saddam attempted it in 1999, and a few years later was hanged. Qaddafi just last year had finished inking deals with China and Russia that would circumvent the Dollar dominance in these oil and gas markets, and you see how they are dealing with him. A war that Russia and China to become involved in this world war, for an attack on Iran, will be construed by the Chinese as an attack on Beijing.

If you ask me on all this, I would say the executives of the IRI regime has been tutored by Uncle Sam on this scenario. WOW! What does that mean? It means that U.S. has implanted spy-elements inside the IRI regime (i.e., Rafsanjani, Larijani, and the lunatic Ahmadinejad to mention a few) to take our country into war, because Uncle Sam needs a war so bad as a tool of recovery for its economic crisis.

According to Iran Green Voice, Iranian actress Marzieh Vafamehr, wife of film director and screenwriter Nasser Taghvai, was arrested two weeks ago in Tehran and remains in detention.

So far the authorities haven’t informed the family of Marzieh Vafamehr about the reasons for her arrest. However, it is believed this is due to her acting in Granaz Moussavi‘s film My Tehran for Sale and appearing without hijab in a scene. My Tehran For Sale hasn’t received screening license from the authorities, but it has been distributed in Tehran underground regardless.

Synopsis – My Tehran For Sale: Marzieh is a young female actress living in Tehran. The authorities ban her theatre work and, like all young people in Iran, she is forced to lead a secret life in order to express herself artistically.

At an underground rave, she meets Iranian born Saman, now an Australian citizen, who offers her a way out of her country and the possibility of living without fear.

Shot entirely on location in Tehran, MY TEHRAN FOR SALE tells the story of modern day Iranian youth struggling for cultural freedom. It brings to the screen never before seen images of modern urban Iran, and reveals how young Iranian people live behind closed doors.

MY TEHRAN FOR SALE is the first Iranian/Australian feature film collaboration and is the directorial debut of contemporary poet Granaz Moussavi.

Presidential Candidate Herman Cain: I would attack Iran to protect Israel

July 19, 2011 Leave a comment
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain speaks with reporters and editors during an interview Monday at The Washington Times’ office building in D.C.
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said Monday he would attack Iran to prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons or to respond to aggression against Israel. Asked if he agreed with former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton’s contention that the “only realistic alternative … is to use force preemptively against Iran’s nuclear weapons program” since diplomacy has failed, Mr. Cain said he did, with one caveat. “There would be some other pieces of information I would need before I gave that order, but I’m saying that would be Option B,” Mr. Cain said during an interview with editors and reporters at The Washington Times.

“Option A is, ‘Folks, we are not going to allow you to attack Israel‘ … If they call my bluff, they already know — they will know — what Option B is.”
Mr. Cain said that, as commander-in-chief, he would “make it crystal clear [that] if you mess with Israel, you’re messing with the United States of America,” but stressed that his “Cain Doctrine” would not be a “blank check” for Israeli military action.
“There will be a set of conditions and circumstances that I will work withIsrael on for them to understand that they cannot abuse that doctrine,” said Mr. Cain, a former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza.
However, if Israel is ever attacked first by Iran, he said he is “not going to sit back and get a vote from the United Nations as to what we ought to do.”
“If they [Iran] start lobbing rockets and stuff over at Israel, then we’re going to shoot back with Israel,” he said.
Mr. Cain dismissed the notion that an attack on Iran is unrealistic: “First of all, we have the most capable military power in the world,” he said. “Air, ground — although we won’t have to use ground for this — submarines, ships, that would be strategically placed in that part of the world.”
Mr. Cain has questioned President Obama’s commitment to the Jewish state, saying during his candidacy announcement that Mr. Obama had thrown “Israel under the bus” by calling for negotiations with the Palestinians to be based on Israel’s borders before the 1967 war.
“The problem we have today is that, I believe, that [Iran] would test this president’s intention to help protect Israel,” he said.
Mr. Cain was interviewed at The Times after he had met Monday morning with Israel’s ambassador to U.S., Michael Oren.

VP Stresses Iran’s Continued Confrontation against US, Israel

July 19, 2011 Leave a comment

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s Vice-President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Mohammad Reza Mir-Tajjeddini stressed Iran’s determination to continue confrontation against the US and the Zionist regime, and said Tehran will firmly stand against the plots hatched by these two arrogant states to spread their hegemony over the region.

Addressing Iranian expatriates in Malaysia, the Iranian vice-president stressed that Iran would never accept the presence and dominance of the western countries in the region and will confront the US-Israeli plots with all its might and power.

Mir-Tajjeddini also cited resistance against the expansionist policies of the western world as the key to Iran’s growing might and power in today’s world.
Late in June, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad strongly criticized the US and the Zionist regime of Israel for their expansionist policies, and blamed Washington and Tel Aviv for the existing problems of human community.
“The most problems humanity suffers from are the result of the expansionist and non-divine rule of the United States and its evil hanger-on, the Zionist regime [of Israel],” Ahmadinejad said, addressing the inauguration ceremony of the 28th International Holy Quran Competition here in Tehran.
“The uncivilized Zionists, for the sake of their own passions, have crushed and are crushing all humans under their heavy wheels of their egotism, materialism and capitalism,” the Iranian president stated at the time.

Uncle Sam uses his puppet dog IRI as a scarecrow, teaches him to say those words to frighten the world so that U.S. can sell its arms to 3rd world countries. Soon we will observe another round of arms sales and witness the first naive government that takes the bait and starts making arms contract with the Imperialist. [DID]

Book Review: ‘Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion Across the Islamic World’

July 19, 2011 Leave a comment

Robin Wright uses her four decades of journalism experience in the region to go beyond the usual sources in seeking a clearer understanding of the social and political upheaval underway.

It might seem odd to appropriate the title of a song from an English punk band for a book of in-depth reporting about the evolving political situation in largely Muslim nations, but the Clash’s understanding that culture and politics are inextricably intertwined is precisely Robin Wright’s point. In “Rock the Casbah,” she provides invaluable context for what she rightly terms “the epic convulsion across the Islamic world” by listening to voices we don’t usually hear.
Wright focuses sections of her book on Islamic youth culture as an instrument of change. Young Muslims, she finds, do not believe their religion requires them to live by rules that have more to do with
the practices of a patriarchal 7th-century society than the teachings of the Koran. But many of them are also “strikingly religious and observant.” They want to lead modern lives, and they want democratic accountability from their governments, but that doesn’t mean they think the secular West has all the answers.

“In this so-called war of civilizations, we’re giving the finger to both sides,” says Muslim punk rocker Michael Muhammad Knight. The comment clearly illustrates Wright’s central contention.

Anyone seeking deeper understanding of the Arab Spring needs to read Wright’s formidably well-informed book. A former correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, Wright has covered much of the Muslim worldthatfor four decades. She sees the political revolts in the Middle East and North Africa as part of a broader trend: “the counter-jihad, which is unfolding in the wider Islamic bloc of fifty-seven countries as well as among Muslim minorities worldwide.” Muslim citizens are not only overthrowing autocratic regimes, she believes; they are also rejecting the violent extremism of Al Qaeda and the Taliban and the fundamentalist Islamic ideology that fuels terrorism and guides theocracies such as Iran.

Young Muslims — more than half of the Islamic world is under 30 — are at the forefront of this change, not just on the barricades in Egypt and Tunisia but on the concert stage in Marrakesh and on television in Saudi Arabia. Part 2 of the book, “A Different Tune,” goes far beyond the usual platitudes about Facebook and YouTube (though it happens to be true that they empowered the Arab Spring revolts) to explore Islamic rap, “pink hejab” {the Islamic head scarf} feminism, “satellite sheikhs” who preach a more tolerant form of Islam, and Muslim poets, playwrights comic-book artists and stand-up comics who challenge stereotypes and restrictive theology while affirming their faith.

As Wright notes, their balancing act between religion and modernity can make Western observers uncomfortable. Her depiction of young Muslim women, “committed to their faith, firm about their femininity, and resolute about their rights,” will spark some qualms in non-Muslim feminists. They may find themselves cynical about the assertion that “hejab is now about liberation, not confinement” and troubled by one activist’s admission that “it’s a deal between a Muslim girl and society. I agree that I will wear hejab in order to have more space and freedom in return.” Wright is perhaps overly optimistic about female empowerment via Muslim modesty, a criticism that could also be made of her implicit suggestion that cultural ferment facilitates political progress. But her central contention is unassailable: it’s not for outsiders to determine the shape of change in Islamic societies.

Wright’s in-depth knowledge of those societies’ cultures and histories informs every page of “Rock the Casbah.” Even the first section, which chronicles the overthrow of Tunisia’s and Egypt’s rulers, as well as the sustained though ultimately fruitless protests against Iran’s rigged 2009 election, furthers our comprehension of those well-known events by expanding to cover developments less familiar to Western readers. She cites a 2007 letter to Osama bin Laden from Saudi Sheikh Salman al Oudah as evidence that even conservative Wahhabist clerics such as Sheikh Salman have come to see Al Qaeda’s murderous tactics as crimes that disgrace Islam. She chronicles homegrown revolts against Al Qaeda (in Iraq’s Anwar province in 2006-07) and the Taliban (in Pakistan’s Swat Valley in 2009) to back up her contention that support for extremism had plummeted among Muslims even before there was a political alternative other than U.S.-supported autocracies. “People are angry at America,” comments Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, but “radicalism doesn’t have a policy for education or health or the economy. Nobody wants another Taliban state.”

Wright does not minimize the challenges facing those seeking an authentically Muslim form of democracy. Her final chapters briefly scan post-revolutionary turbulence in Egypt and Tunisia, the ongoing rebellions battling brutal repression in Libya and Syria, and various forms of protest achieving various levels of success across the Islamic world; she does not attempt to forecast their final outcomes. “There is still a wild ride ahead,” she warns. “No new government will be able to accommodate expectations of either jobs or social justice anytime soon — and probably for years to come.”

The United States, after decades of unquestioningly supporting authoritarian Arab regimes, has yet to craft a coherent new policy to encourage democratic movements or sustain fragile emerging democracies. In addition, Wright bluntly comments, it has “consistently misread public sentiment in the Islamic world.” We must do better, and President Obama appears to be trying, but in the end, as he has pointed out, it’s not up to us. Wright’s richly textured portrait of ancient cultures in the throes of wrenching but liberating transformation makes it quite clear that Muslims themselves will decide their future.
